Empowering individual wellbeing through supportive, evidence-based therapy.

At Potential Pathways Psychology, I believe in a client-centred approach that prioritises your unique life pathways and needs. My aim is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your current life path and beyond. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, distressed, or just need a safe space to process life's ups and downs, I'm here to help.
I offer Individual Therapy for Adults, through Telehealth - support is accessible no matter where you live in Australia.
With a warm, collaborative, and engaging style, I support clients in working through a wide range of diverse life challenges. I bring a strong commitment to each individual I work with, ensuring clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. At the heart of my work, I believe that every individual is the expert in their own life. My role is to support, understand and challenge clients through their emotional, cognitive and behavioural exploration.
I have experience working with clients who present with: anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, autism, ADHD, trauma, grief, stress and burn out, self esteem and body image, relationship issues, alcohol and other substance use.
I work closely with clients to clarify their goals and empower them with the tools and insights needed to manage symptoms, build resilience, and create lasting change in their mental health and wellbeing. This is achieved through evidence based therapies including, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectic behavioural therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing and emotion-focused therapy.
Please reach us at admin@potentialpathwayspsychology.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I provide a range of therapies including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing; however, each intervention will be tailored to individual needs.
You can schedule an appointment using our online booking system available here, on our website.
Your first session will involve an assessment through clinical interview. This will help me understand your concerns and goals, allowing us to tailor a personalised treatment plan.
Our fees are set in accordance with the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPi) fee recommendations. For a 60 minute Telehealth session, our fee is $190. Clients are able to access a Medicare rebate (currently set at $98.95) for the above private fee. After your session, you will need to pay the full fee above and then you will receive the Medicare rebate after your claim has been processed.
Private Health Cover:
Counselling sessions are able to be claimed with most private health care funds if you see one of our psychologists. All you need to do is take your receipt to your health fund and make the relevant claim. This is only applicable if you are not already using the Medicare rebate.
If you would like to access medicare rebated sessions, you may be eligible to receive this through a visit to your General Practitioner (GP), by requesting a 'Mental Health Care Plan'. Once this has been received, we will be able to process these rebates for you at the completion of your session and once full payment is received.
You can receive up to 10 medicare rebated sessions per calendar year. For a General Psychologist the rebate is currently $98.95 per session.
There are times when there are exceptions to confidentiality. For example, this may occur to protect you or the public from serious harm (i.e., plans to attempt suicide, plans to hurt others, child abuse). Other times may be if your psychologist is ordered to release information by the court. In addition, your psychologist will be required to write a report back to your referring GP if you are utilising a Mental Health Plan under the Medicare Rebate system. However, if you are self-referred, reports are not sent to your GP. At your first session, you will receive Potential Pathways Psychology's policy, which covers this information and discusses how your personal information will be handled.
Once you submit your inquiry, we will review your message and respond within 24 to 48 hours. We aim to provide you with the guidance and support you need promptly.
Your questions and concerns are important to us. Rest assured that all communications are confidential, and we are committed to offering you the best possible care and attention.
